Psychology services provided are ND affirming as they: - are provided by a neurdivergent (AuDHD) psychologist. - are informed by autistic and neurdivergent voices. - focus on the goals of the individual. - allow for all forms of communication not just verbal. - provide a safe space for self-regulatory behaviours (stimming), as well as communication and connection of special interests. - utilise a client's special interest for connection, and learning. - support the learning of making modifications to the environment to support sensory and emotional regulation. - focus on education, utilising identity first language, and aim on greater understanding and acceptance (both by the individual and their family/support people).
