NDIS Recommendations Report Pathway (NRAP)
Overview of the Assessment
Client’s accessing our NDIS Recommendations Assessment Report (NRAP) Pathway, will be able to acquire a NDIS Recommendations Assessment Report. This is different to a Functional Capacity Assessment.
Purpose and Benefits
The NDIS Recommendations Assessment Report provides a basic set of recommended funded supports acquired from a simplified, yet thorough assessment using the results from completing the Adaptive Behaviour Assessment Scale, 3rd Edition (ABAS-III). This is not the same as a Functional Capacity Assessment (FCA) and if the participant (or you) has been asked to get an FCA then this will NOT be a sufficient replacement. This report is a more simplified document which may be a good first step for those needing some basic recommendations to the NDIS who cannot afford a full FCA.
Process
The NDIS Recommendations Assessment Report includes:
- Background and holistic information regarding disability and support needs.
- Results of ABAS-3 Assessment with clinical interpretation and analysis.
- Recommendations of funded supports for the NDIS.
The NDIS Recommendations Assessment Report Pathway will require participants to complete a few questionnaires regarding their capacity to enable the ABAS-3 assessment to be completed.
Please note: If the NDIS have requested a Functional Capacity Assessment or provided funding for a Functional Capacity Assessment to occur, then you must complete the Functional Capacity Assessment, not this report. You can find more information about Functional Capacity Assessments here.
Pricing and Fees are capped at:
- NDIS clients: Total cost $1,500.00
- Non-NDIS clients: Total cost $1,650.00 (cost increase is only due to GST, no other price difference between NDIS and private services).
- Non-NDIS / Privately paying client services are subject to GST
- Adding a privately paid Diagnostic Assessment regarding Autism and/or ADHD for participants who access this pathway will only incur an additional charge (privately paid) of $300.
*Diagnostic assessments must be paid privately and cannot be funded using NDIS funding.
Wellness Recovery Action Plan Pathway (WRAP)
We all know how to manage ourselves, our lives, and our wellness….. until we don’t.
It’s always easy….. until it’s not. Then sometimes, it’s too hard to make it easy again.
Difficulty getting out of bed, social withdrawal, increased need to stim, more frequent or intense meltdowns….. sound familiar?
How do you know when you’re in a good place? How do you, and those around you, know when you’re not? And, when you’re not, what treatments, medications, support, or people do you want around you?
What on earth do you need to do to maintain enough stamina to keep going?
When it all becomes chaotic, and you’re spinning your burnout wheels…… what happens next?
Proactively planning for your mental health is essential. It allows you to put some strategies on paper, create a plan you can share with whoever you choose, and pre-think the answers to some questions before you’re in a position where they are urgently needed.
We use the WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) model, merged with or own neuroscience and sensory-based clinical practice, to help you create a personalised, and actionable mental health plan.
This plan will outline what looks like when you are well, and when you are not, along with what others should do if signs appear, and how you want care during your most vulnerable moments.
Our accredited mental health Social Workers are specially trained to guide this process, with the option to involve others or keep it one-on-one.
Make sure you have a structured therapy and crisis response plan tailored to YOU, to look after your brain and body the way YOU choose, with the people YOU want around you.
